AktieTorget: ValueTree Holdings AB - Disclosure of major shareholding

Friends Life Group plc hereby notifies that on 29 June 2011 it passed 10 per cent of the total share capital of ValueTree Holdings AB. Friends Life Group plc now indirectly holds 10.278% of the total share capital of ValueTree. This holding is held through its subsidiaries, Lombard International Assurance S.A., which holds 1,113,321 shares (5.391%), and Friends Provident International Limited, which holds 1,009,118 shares (4.887%). The 10 per cent threshold was crossed when Lombard International Assurance S.A acquired 90,915 shares in ValueTree Holdings AB in June 2011.
